Description of duties of the Deputy Minister of Development and Meteorology

1- Guiding and supervising the operational programs of applied meteorological research

2- Guiding and supervising weather forecasting programs and issuing forecasts

3- Guiding and supervising the performance of the units under supervision and evaluating them with pre-determined programs

4- Cooperation and coordination with other relevant provincial agencies in line with the tasks related to the meteorological department

5- Supervising the preparation and adjustment of medium and short-term plans of the units under supervision and evaluating the realization of the mentioned plans

6- Participating in relevant commissions, committees and councils in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations
